We set individualised fees for each of our students in order to make sure that they are able to gain an education
Our aim at RDB Trust is to be able to provide an education to the underprivileged students in the surrounding rural areas, with the specific focus on advancing girls careers. To achieve this, we set individualised fees for each student so that all students irrespective of their socio-economic background are able to attend.
Balancing the affordability of fees for each student, and the aspirations we have for the future of the college is difficult.
The challenge that we are facing at the moment is that the funds needed to expand and grow the trust is limited. This is due to many reasons, one such being the sliding scale of fees collected from the students which is not sufficient for our expansion plans. In order to combat this, we are requesting donations to help improve the quality of education that each student receives.
Your money will be a fountain of sustenance for the youth from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Your contributions will improve the quality of education and experience that each student receives. In order to achieve this, we are expanding the infrastructure and staff. Making a highly skilled staff available at a rural location is essential but is also very challenging. A higher funding is required to fulfil these goals. Your money will also be invested to offer additional courses and teach life skills for the students. The current pandemic demands a greater online presence and in order to provide a web-based education, new investment is needed.
Our aim of creating a more sustainable and eco friendly college will also be accomplished through your donations. With plans to rely more on solar panels and sustainable resources to build new facilities, your money will be instrumental in acquiring these. The care packages and developmental courses that will be provided through your donations to the teachers will undoubtedly increase the level and quality of teaching.
We have decided not to enforce fee payments in the present situation of coronavirus. This has undoubtedly challenged our college funds.
Presently, due to the coronavirus situation, everyone’s jobs and lives have undoubtedly been affected. In the rural villages near the colleges, many families have been unable to pay due to their current economic situation. To combat this and relieve their burden, whilst making sure we are still carrying out our vision to further educate everyone we have decided not to enforce fee payments. This has undoubtedly further challenged our college funds, as we have to fulfil commitments to our employees, their families and maintenance of premises.
